This mini pack was written for those who have or love someone with down syndrome. 30 handwritten sayings to stick around your home or give to a loved one who needs encouragement and strength.
SMACK has agreed to donate enough of these mini packs to Hawkeye Area Down Syndrome Association to put in the baskets they provide for Down Syndrome families.
The sayings for this pack were picked by Laura who just gave birth to a sweet baby girl, Bailey Kate. Here is her story and purpose for this pack:
"Towards the end of our pregnancy, we found out God chose us to be part of the Lucky Few.
The Lucky Few who are blessed with a baby who has Down syndrome. Through our diagnosis and unknown times, SMACK cards brought light to some of my darkest days. I have a card framed that I still use to remind myself daily: “The lord is greater than the giants you face. 1 John 4:4.”
Bailey Kate has taught us so much already throughout this journey and she will continue to teach us every single day.
Bo and I are so thankful that Bailey is ours and we are looking forward to watching her grow, thrive and flourish. Each day comes with new love for our baby girl, challenges and triumphs.
My hope is for other families navigating this path to have a pack that can bring strength to the hard days, honoring our Lucky Few and showcasing their beauty."
