This mini pack was created for baby Zepplin who passed away in his sleep during his morning nap due to SIDS.
With each pack of cards sold, 20% will be donated to The American SIDS Institute to raise awareness and help support other families.
Each pack includes 40 handwritten messages that were picked by Zeppelin's parents.
Each 4" x 4" message is handwritten by me, then professionally printed on heavyweight white matte cardstock.
This mini pack comes in an organic cotton reusable drawstring bag.
Here is Zepplin's story:
On June 26th 2021, we welcomed a beautiful baby boy Zeppelin Krew Del Toro to the world.
We had 10 wonderful weeks with him, until on the morning of September 9th 2021, we came upstairs to find he passed away in his sleep during his morning nap.
While the doctors were able to revive his heart, his brain had lost all of its functioning and he was taken off of life support on September 10th, 2021 with all of his loved ones by his side. Zeppelin was the youngest of 6, him being the 5th boy, and had the sweetest eyes and the coolest little Mohawk. He was so strong and so happy, and was already giving the biggest smiles just weeks before his passing.
Each year, there are about 3,400 sudden unexpected infant deaths (SUID) in the United States. These deaths occur among infants less than 1 year old and have no immediately obvious cause. With each pack of cards sold, a portion of proceeds will be donated to The American SIDS Institute to raise awareness and help support other families who are working through the same journey we are as we grieve the loss of our sweet boy.
The week before we found out we were expecting our baby, a bright rainbow was shining bright in a picture of Brittany. The hour Zeppelin passed away, a rainbow appeared in the sky. And then on the night of his funeral, another bright rainbow gleamed brightly through the clouds. We have witnessed many rainbows since then, more than we have ever seen in our lives, and so this pack of cards has been inspired by Zeppys spirit, full of color and beauty. Rainbows are a sign of hope. They’re a reminder that in stormy dark times, brightness and beauty will shine through.
We hope that as you go through each one, you may find comfort and healing on your journey towards healing, and feel Zeppelins sweet spirit with you 🌈
